To mark the Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, a theme day will be organised on 6 November 2009 by De Verstomde Schreeuw (The Silent Scream), the north division of the Vereniging Verkeers Slachtoffers (the Dutch Association for Road Traffic Victims).
During this day the theme ‘Truth finding’ will be the central feature. For an optimal support of road victims and their families it is important that the accident, its causes and direct consequences are recorded accurately. In the Netherlands this is not done adequately. During the Day of Remembrance we will think and talk about this subject together.
Contributions will be made by a.o. mr. Bob Kenter (Politie Fryslân), prof. John Stoop (DOVO-analyst), dr. Maria Kuiken (DHV-mobility and human behaviour), and mr. Peter Elsenaar (president FSO). Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss with the experts in the forum.
Programme survey: Welcome 10.30 Programme start 11.00 Lunch ca. 12.30 Subsequently summary and interaction between participants and forum Conclusion ca. 14.30
